RAPID REACT 2022

Astrid is built with a robust and rigid body to host our cargo flywheel. Astrid is one of our few shooters where we use Limelight vision to aim into the middle Hub. Made of a wooden frame, cargo would be loaded in via a pneumatic dropdown intake using compliant wheels. Cargo would then be loaded and ready to shoot until flywheels reached ideal speeds and then be released by a pneumatic switch. Fun fact: the LEDs on Astrid’s flywheel frame would change to green from yellow when the flywheels were at ideal speed.
